BNF Apps

British National Formulary Apps

New medicine prescribing apps for Smartphones launched by The National institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). They are available to download for free from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. Users will need to enter their NHS Athens user name and password to activate the app and download the content to their mobile device.

BNF and BNF for Children are both available.

Aimed at pharmacists, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who prescribe and administer medicines, the app provides easy offline access to up-to-date practical information on prescribing, dispensing, and administering medicines direct from the BNF.

Any queries or to register for NHS Athens please ask Library staff.
