Attention:Core Medical Trainees-GoVirtualMedical

GoVirtualMedical (http://govirtualmedical.com/) has been supplied by the London Deanery. This is a PC based skills training modules programme with simulation functionality to support the training of procedural skills, e.g. lumbar puncture, insertion of central lines, chest drains, PR and PV examination, cervical smears, NG tube insertion.
This resource is aimed primarily at CT1/ST1 and CT2/ST2s in Core Medicine. However if there are user licenses remaining, we would be happy to offer this to limited number of F2s.
Currently the software is only available in the Library of the Barnet Education Centre and if you are at Chase Farm you would therefore need to travel to Barnet to benefit from this programme at present.
If you wish to use the software please contact me on ext 4833 /1719 and I will issue you with a user name and password.
The Trust has also been provided with single-user discs for home use, which are available upon request from me.
I will inform you as soon as we have been able to successfully install this programme at Chase Farm.
